Favorites Exhibit from January 22nd to March 1st 2016

The Favorites – the King’s mistresses – had a strong but sometimes fragile position, and I have always been fascinated by this ambiguity, whatever the court.

I am moved by the tragic and aesthetic duality of certain fates sealed by love, hate or power situations, often filled with intrigue and danger.

My Favorites are made of folds, full and empty zones, often holding by a thread, always with black parts conflicting with the colours.
